🪄Connecting your data

To configure the connection to your Excel risk register, click the yellow "connect your data" button in the top left.

Enter in your license key and the URL to the Excel risk register hosted in either Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, or Sharepoint. To get the URL, open the file in the desktop app and right click on the file in the File > Recent menu and select "copy path".

Past the path into the "URL" field of the cofiguration. You must remove the ?web=1 from the end of the path.

The License Key can be found after license checkout as well as emailed to the registered user for the license.

Click Next.

You will need to authenticate to two sources:

Ensure you check which source PowerBI is prompting you to authenticate to as it seems to be a roll of the dice which one pops up first.
