Step1: Download the Excel Risk Register Template

This is delivered as part of your license, and sent in an email to the registered user

Step 2: Fill out the Excel Risk Register Template

When you first open the template, it will have demo data. Delete the data leaving only the header row, and start filling out the register!

Step 3: Host the Excel Risk Register

The Excel file must be hosted in either Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, or SharePoint to connect to the PowerBI App. Plus - this let's your team collaborate on a single source-of-truth!

Step 4: Install the SecureMetrics PowerBI App in your PowerBI Environment

You can install this from the Microsoft AppSource Marketplace.

Step 5: Connect to your Excel Risk Register

Upon install, the SecureMetrics PowerBI App will load sample data. Connect to your Excel Risk Register by providing the URL to the Excel file & your license key.

Step 6: Congrats! You're on your way to a better risk register!
